Supporting Wind Power Projects Through Logistics

Wind turbine components present unique transportation challenges due to their size, weight, and handling requirements. Blades, tower sections, and nacelles must be transported safely across long distances while meeting strict project schedules.
Drawing on its experience in project cargo logistics, MOL Drybulk transported these components from China to Hokkaido, helping ensure the timely delivery of equipment for the Matsumae II Wind Power Project.

Operations Behind Heavy and Oversized Cargo Transportation

This video captures the unloading operation of wind turbine components from the small deck carrier NEW DRAGON. The video showcases the discharge operation, where wind turbine components are unloaded using heavy-lift cranes and carefully coordinated terminal operations.
