Application for Certificate of Eligibility
This is one of the required procedures for a foreign national such as a trainee or a specified skilled worker to enter Japan. A certificate of eligibility for resident status is issued after this application is submitted to the Immigration Bureau. A visa is issued upon submission of this certificate to a local embassy/consulate of Japan.
