GLOSSARY

Blue Hydrogen

It is produced by a combination of a reforming fossil fuels (e.g. methane) and capturing CO2 generated during the production process. It can be assumed to be carbon-free only when it is burned in an engine. From the point of view of the whole life cycle, it cannot be assumed to be carbon-free if CO2 were emitted in the process of production and transportation.
