Certificate of Eligibility
This certificate is issued prior to a foreign worker's entry to Japan by a regional immigration bureau under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Justice to certify that the applicant's intended activity in Japan is true and meets the conditions of entry, such as falling under one of residency statuses as stipulated by the Immigration Control Law (excluding a short-term stay).
