DAC(Direct Air Capture)
A method classified as a technology-based CO₂ removal credit, in which air is drawn in using large fans and CO₂ is directly separated and captured from the atmosphere using specialized sorbents. The captured CO₂ is then stored underground for a period of 1,000 years or more.
