GLOSSARY

Floating Offshore Wind Power Generation

A form of offshore wind power in which wind turbines are installed on floating structures deployed at sea. Fixed-bottom foundations become less economically viable in water depths exceeding approximately 50 meters; therefore, floating wind turbines are typically used in waters between 50 and 200 meters deep.
