GLOSSARY

Heavy-Lift Ship

A type of ship categorized as heavy-lift ship is equipped with a crane called a heavy lifter. The deck of a heavy-lift ship is designed to be particularly strong because oversized cargo that does not fit in the cargo hold would be loaded onto the deck. The ship is equipped with large-capacity ballasts on both sides to prevent losing stability of the ship when lifting heavy cargo.
