Kyoto Mechanisms

The Kyoto Mechanisms are a UN-managed mechanism established as a flexible measure for developed countries that were obliged to reduce their emissions under the Kyoto Protocol, but are unable to achieve their GHG reduction targets through self-help efforts alone.
