Membrane-type tanks(LNG Carrier)

A membrane-type tanks are one of the most widely used cargo containment systems on LNG carriers. They store liquefied natural gas (LNG) using a thin, corrugated metallic membrane supported by insulation materials installed inside the ship's hull. Because the tanks can be arranged to conform to the hull's shape, they offer excellent space utilization and enable the transport of larger LNG volumes. Another advantage is that deck protrusions can be kept to a minimum, providing improved forward visibility from the bridge.
