Moss-type tanks(LNG Carrier)
A moss-type tanks are one of the cargo containment systems used on LNG carriers. They store liquefied natural gas (LNG) in independent spherical tanks that are structurally separated from the ship's hull. Because the tanks themselves provide the necessary structural strength, the system offers excellent safety and reliability. On the other hand, cargo capacity utilization is lower than that of membrane-type tanks, resulting in reduced space efficiency.
