Out of Gauge (OOG) Cargo
Cargo that cannot be loaded on a dry container due to its dimensions (height, width, and length) or weight is called Out Of Gauge (OOG) cargo. This type of cargo is transported on a open top container or flat rack container. Break Bulk Cargo is also a type of OOG cargo, however, a container loaded with OOG cargo can be transported on regular roads and brought into and out of a container terminal.
