Ramp
A ramp is an inclined passage installed on a vessel, used for vehicles to drive on board or off the ship under their own power.
Unlike the conventional cargo-handling method in which cargo is lifted and moved using cranes, this method enables efficient and swift loading and unloading by having vehicles travel on the rampway lowered to the quay.
