Revenue Ton
Revenue Ton is the unit used to indicate a quantity when calculating ocean freight and other charges. Ocean freight and other charges are invoiced using the greater value of: cargo cubic measure (M3) or cargo weight measure. M3 is used for the revenue ton in almost all cases regarding vehicles, while weight measure may be used for construction machinery.
