SPB-type tanks（LNG Carrier）
SPB (Self-supporting Prismatic Shape IMO Type B) tanks are one of the cargo containment systems used on LNG carriers. They store liquefied natural gas (LNG) in independent, prismatic-shaped tanks that are structurally separate from the ship's hull. Because the tanks themselves provide the necessary structural strength, the system offers excellent safety and reliability. In addition, the prismatic tank design enables high space utilization, allowing for efficient cargo loading.
