Specified Activity
These activities are specifically designated by the Minister of Justice for individual foreign nationals. As the activities of foreign nationals in Japan are becoming more and more diverse every year, activities that do not fall under the existing status of residence are allowed. The maximum length of stay is five (5) years. Some examples include internship, non-professional athlete, and nurse and nursing care worker candidate.
