Abbreviation for Emergency Shut Down. This is a safety system which quickly stop LNG transfer from LNG Carrier to FSRU, and gas send-out from FSRU and onshore facilities, in the case unexpected event is observed between FSRU, LNG Carrier, or onshore facilities, or when an emergency evacuation becomes necessary.
