Tower Yoke
Tower Yoke is one of the mooring methods. This type of mooring system comprises a tower built on the ocean floor, a Mooring Yoke and Pendant Linkage which connect a ship and the tower, and a Ballast Tank for stability. This type of mooring method is employed in relatively shallow water. The tower and a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) or a Floating Storage Unit (FSU) are connected via a connector called Yoke.
